Lao Prime Minister Thongloun Sisoulith has pledged to favourable conditions for Vietnamese firms to continue investing in agricultural development in Laos.
The chairman of agricultural firm Hoang Anh Gia Lai Joint Stock Company (HAG), has made another attempt to buy shares of the company after its share value plummeted.
Conglomerate Hoang Anh Gia Lai’s chairman Doan Nguyen Duc will sell 23 million HAGL shares as guaranteed assets to help the company restructure its debts.

Doan Nguyen Duc, chairman of Hoang Anh Gia Lai Corporation, has rejected
all accusations made against his company of deforesting and
appropriating land in Laos and Cambodia by the NGO Global Witness,
calling them "groundless."

publicly advised people to purchase apartments arguing that prices have
fallen to the floor.
